Encore (Adults age 50-65) -ENCORE defines all of us Baby Boomers “The Golden Generation.”  We have come through Suburbia, Vietnam, Protests, Drugs, Sex. and Rock n Roll.  At ENCORE, we learn together how to identify the changes that occur later in life and how to navigate those changes.  We do not equate the end of a successful career with the beginning of retirement.  We want to stay in the “game” and still make a difference.  Encore is an open event where we enjoy good food, share stories, laugh and receive care and support from one another.  If you have hit mid-life and are trying to figure out where am I, what can I do, how do I repack my work bag and what in the world is a “caregiver” then ENCORE  is where you need to connect.  God never intended for us to walk through life alone and we can still grow in all areas when we learn the benefits of sharing together.

Legacy ( Adults age 65+) -If you have experienced or have friends who have experienced the Great Depression, Roaring 20’s, WW I and II , LEGACY is the place for you.  LEGACY provides a friendly environment where we sing, learn, socialize and enjoy a fantastic lunch provided by our volunteers.  Our purpose is to remind ourselves that we can celebrate life and faith at any age.  We have a devotional each month that relates to where we are in life and encourages us to never give up hope and affirms our value to the church , family, and community.  We meet the fourth Thursday at 12:00pm at the Summit which is located just a short distance from the church.  First time guests are always welcome!  We invite you to join us as we live out the fact that AGE is only a NUMBER.
